Hi, I’m Colleen Harris, Director of Product Insights for DealerOn, and I’m excited to introduce our enhanced reporting suite: Data Hub, formerly known as Beacon. Our team has been hard at work delivering updates designed to make data more accessible and actionable for our dealers.
With new visualizations, a powerful new data engine, and even more actionable reporting on the horizon, DealerOn remains committed to equipping dealers with the insights they need to make data-driven marketing decisions.

Powered by Google’s enterprise reporting solution, Looker, all DealerOn reporting is built on Google Analytics 4. GA4 is the universal language of data—both inside and outside the automotive industry—ensuring transparency and ease of use.

Instead of navigating multiple sections in GA4 to find user data, page views, and conversions, Data Hub consolidates everything into one easy-to-use report, accessible directly from the DealerOn CMS. It’s a one-stop shop for website performance data, giving you a clear, visual representation of key metrics in a single view.

We’ve also introduced new engagement metrics, including engagement rate and engaged sessions. Leads are great and will always be a priority, but engagement matters too! This reporting highlights when users click on multiple events and are active within the session, meaning they are browsing and clicking in your site – exactly what we want to see. You can filter to see engagement rate by type, allowing you to filter between organic, paid, or social traffic, allowing you to evaluate the effectiveness of your site and your vendor partners.

The all-new Data Hub features three main sections: Overview, Marketing Lead Source, and Acquisition. Dealers using our Digital Shopping tool, Apex, or our Personalization tool, Signals, will also have dedicated performance reports for those products.

And don’t worry—we’ve kept all the essential metrics you rely on, like average session length, bounce rate, and engaged sessions, all broken down for new and used inventory.

This release of Data Hub 2.0 is just the beginning. We have even more reporting enhancements coming this year. DealerOn is dedicated to leading the industry in actionable data insights—because your success is our priority.
